CRSA & SPORTING IOWA PARTNERSHIP
We are thrilled to announce that two of the most prominent soccer clubs in the region, CRSA and Sporting Iowa, have created a partnership to increase soccer excellence! This collaboration will see two of the most prestigious clubs in the state work together to create opportunities and pathways for players across the state.
With a rich history and a legacy of success, both CRSA and Sporting Iowa have built loyal club membership and earned their reputations as true champions. By coming together, we will not only strengthen our own position in the state but we will also create opportunities for ourplayers to play together.
Sporting Iowa Central is the first and only full ECNL club member for both boys & girls in the state of Iowa. Gaining access to this platform has seen an incredible improvement in player development and college recruitment. The goal of the partnership is to ensure ourfamilies have access to the unrivaled pathways to the very best league in the country. CRSA and Sporting Iowa East will be Sporting Iowa Central’s preferred and only partners to gain access for players into the ECNL.
What does this mean for our current and prospective CRSA players?
-
Players that have interest in playing in the ECNL can utilize CRSA as a regional training hub and play with Sporting Iowa Central in the ECNL.
-
CRSA players (who are chosen to play ECNL) can and will still compete in our league games with CRSA and will also compete in State Cup with their CRSA team.
-
CRSA players will have opportunities and access to postseason ECNL National Events by playing with Sporting Iowa Central.
"The current landscape and future of soccer in this region continues to evolve and change.. We as CRSA want to continue to provide opportunities for all kids of different skill levels to learn and enjoy the game of soccer. Stay tuned for more updates as we get ready to wrap up our Spring season and go into Tryouts and registration for the 2023/2024 season. "
